Incomparable!  Our 2006 World Futurity Yearling Suri Female Class Winner, Shanghai Secret has the same exotic sensuality of the Mandarin city she was named after.  Her pale silver suri fleece is as exquisite as the ornate silk fabrics this city is well known for.  In 2006, she won the Yearling Suri Female Class at the World Futurity and scored a Grand and Reserve Champion, as well as three firsts and one second place at the 2006 Grand Slam.  In 2005, on her very first trip off the farm, she won another Grand and Reserve Champion, two firsts and one second at the Grand Slam, and was third place in the World Futurity.

Her maternal lineage is one of the most decorated female pedigrees, with multiple owners at the lead shank, including Michael & Linda Pierce, the Gerken family, and Kay Patterson.  Her dam Chantecaille was purchased from the Co-Rect Llama Auction and is an outstanding member of our grey fleece to fashion line!  Shanghai’s ¾ sister, WoodsEdge Chantilly, was even larger than Shanghai at the same age, reaching an impressive 215 lbs. at 10 months of age!  With the same incredible bone and stature as her dam, we believe Shanghai will be just as consistent as her dam, and indeed, her dam’s entire lineage, in producing large correct offspring!  Shanghai is Keured into the SLA Registry and qualified for the 2006 Nationals.  We have elected to not breed her, yet, so her new owner can have the pleasure of showing her at Nationals if they so choose.  She may return to WoodsEdge for a complimentary maiden breeding, but breeding must be initiated by 32 months of age to maintain her reproductive warranty.
